About

Welcome to Write Before The End. Founder, Jessica Aiken-Hall, author of her award-winning memoir, The Monster That Ate My Mommy is a certified end-of-life doula and Reiki Master.

She is no stranger to death as she became an orphan at thirty-four, experiencing her first major loss at ten years old. This first brush with death sparked an interest in her that never left, causing her fascination with the other side.

Jessica has spent the last fifteen years helping people as they prepare for their final destination. Her time as a hospice social worker made her aware of the need to help others find their voice.

She has made it her mission to help people share their story. She finds great joy knowing one more story is out in the world.

Write Before The End came from an assignment Jessica had while she was in Graduate School. She created a business plan to help people get their stories out into the world. This idea, originally called Memories Matter, has never left her heart. It was the one thing that continually came back to her and never stopped nagging at her.

She believes it is her purpose to preserve stories before it is too late. Sadly, she learned this the hard way after her grandmother passed away without leaving her cherished stories behind.

Our passion for preserving family stories drove us to create Write Before The End. Now we serve customers all over the country and are thrilled to share our passion with you.

At Write Before The End, we’re dedicated to giving you the very best support while sharing and preserving your story, with a focus on compassion and privacy.

We leave the sharing of your story up to you, and will never share your stories or your information. We also will never alter the words sent to us.

We hope you enjoy working with us! If you have any questions or comments, please contact us at info@writebeforetheend.com.
